Dr. Leonov graduated from the Sechenov Moscow Medical Institute with specialization in radiology in 1984 and continued his education in X-ray diagnostics at the Kirov Military Medical Academy.
Dr.Leonov served as a Senior attending physician at the Burdenko Clinical Hospital. Since 1997 served as a Chief of Radiology & Ultrasound Departments of the Central Medical Hospital.
He joined the EMC team in 2002.
